Sotheby’s with Ingles and Hayday
Sotheby’s, in association with musical instrument specialists Ingles & Hayday, held an exhibition of 17 violins, 3 violas and a cello created by the legendary musical instrument maker Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume. No-one since Stradivari has had such a profound and long-lasting effect on the violin world.
This exhibition brought together some of the most beautiful and historically important instruments he created. The brochure I designed to accompany the exhibition gave information on the collectors loaning the instruments, the maker and details of each instrument.
