Campaign Design: Dreweatts 1759 - Robert Kime: The Personal Collection auction

From 4 – 6 October 2023 Dreweatts held the landmark auction Robert Kime: The Personal Collection, offering the contents of Robert’s homes in London and Provence. Known the world over as a titan of design and the great assembler of beautiful things, Robert Kime’s unique eye and aesthetic sensibility led him to become one of the leading design figures of his generation. I was delighted to be asked to create the overall look and feel for the auction and to deliver all marketing collateral for print and digital formats. This included: Collection Branding, Advertising, Evites, Invite, Exhibition materials and Assets for the Website.
I also designed and produced the 918 lot two volume Catalogue. This was available in two ways – as soft-back books enclosed within a printed wrap or as a beautiful limited edition hardback and cloth-bound box set. After much global interest the auction saw competitive and enthusiastic bidding over around 25 hours, with thousands of bidders taking part from around the world. The auction achieved £9.64 million (including buyer’s premium), with a 100% sell-through rate, making it another white glove event.
